According to The New York Times, he will stay on as prime minister of Canada and the leader of the Liberal Party until a new leader is chosen by party members.

“This means Trudeau will lead the country through the first months of Donald J. Trump’s new presidency and manage talks over tariffs,” according to The New York Times.

This ain’t good, it would’ve been a Conservative majority if he would’ve ran again. If Freeland runs, she’ll get some votes. We’ll be stuck with another conservative minority for 4 years then another socialist government after that.
Who’s going to talk to Trump in the mean time?
He shoulda dropped out over a year ago or rode it out.
