I know but I’m not telling! grin

I have talked to lots of trappers in their 80s, surprising amount actually. A few in their 90s as well. Kinda inspirational actually.

Was he born on leap year ?

Grammar check
on a leap year
in a leap year
on the 29 th
or the other 365 days
acting like a 11 year old fits the bill most times

69 and most body parts work, some days better than others. Don't set many traps but still like to shoot coyotes and a few fox. Don't have the Bobcats like the old days in the 60's and 70's too many lions here.

I am 68 but act 12, so I think it averages lower than 68. I still trap and I got pics last night of 2 coyotes visiting my old sets from earlier catches this year. So, I plan on popping some back in today.

82. Still do some nuisance trapping, mostly beaver.

Wife: That's the 4th time you've gone back for dessert, doesn't that embarrass you? Me: No, I keep telling them it's for you.

Bobby turned 10 in September. He was gung ho for a short time with his own journal then hockey and hockey cards took over.

I’m 54. Just started trapping again last year after an almost 40 year break. Focus mostly on canine and cats with my short line around the house. Caught my first coyote, bobcat, beaver and otter last year.

I've mentioned this before, but I have always been mightily impressed with how long Daniel Boone remained a trapper. He was met rafting down the Missouri river (with a years worth of beaver plews he had trapped by himself on tributaries of the upper Missouri) by Astor's overland expedition to the Columbia. He was asked to join the expedition and at first got excited about the idea, but by morning decided he was probably better off to continue downstream to St Louis.

He had spent the winter in North Dakota with the Mandans and this was late spring of 1811. Daniel was 78 years old.
