Just had someone give me some tools she had, instead of paying her bill for exterior work.
No traps or guns unfortunately but some tools….

This old vise appears to be new or never used, no bang or cut marks.

Any of you wise folks out there know anything about older vises? I have one I use and this seems to nice and pretty….

Nice vise, but it looks as if it was painted. I've never seen a vise with the handle painted, and the rust / pock marks are telling, of some deep pitting at one time.

Keep your boots dry

I agree with Rally, that seems like a new paint job. I've never seen the handle painted either.

I believe those were made starting in the 1920's but have no idea when they stopped making them.

You can find them on sale on eBay $90.00-$250.00

Eh...wot?

Still a nice vice. I would leave it just like it is. If anyone asks. Why it is green. Tell them to ask Charlene !!!!!!

The well used ones seem to bring over $100 when cleaned up. If that one is really unused it might be worth a lot to a collector.

Here's a nasty one someone is asking $152 for + 100 shipping.

Nice one.
Hard to find that quality in a vice today. I'd keep it and use it unless you find it's worth a stupid amount of money.
