Guys, I’ve been using spitfires since they came out. I’ve killed over 200 deer with them and I really don’t see a reason to change; however, they’re getting slightly harder to find and I’m sure there are better blades out there.

My most important factor is the field point accuracy. I don’t care about blade span a single bit. I just want to be able to take my field points off and screw my broad heads on and go.

What’s out there these days?

Let’er rip, potato chip!

And I prefer an expandable but I’m not married to them.

2nd these worked great for me as well. Went to the grim reapers because they were in stock and the jackhammer was not. Just never went back and still have a few around somewhere

I'll agree on the slick tricks. Best flying non mechanical bhead i ever used. Heck i have a pile of them and i don't even bow hunt anymore. Grizztrics, razortrics, standards, lights. I was always worried they would quit making them and i'd be out, lol.

20+ years ago I used and liked the Thunderhead broadheads. They are still available today, must be a lot of others who liked them too. Fixed blades.

UMC47 go onto AMAZON they have a ton on there for sale. I just bought five 4 packs of the NAP Spitfire Crossbow Max 100 grain for a total of 20 broadheads for $23.63 a pack. I will never change unless they quit making them i've also killed a ton with them

Slick Trick standard here.

If you have had that good of luck with spitfires, I'd keep using them.

QAD Exodus 125’s are fixed but fly true. Only downside is the smaller cutting diameter.

G5 expandables failed on me 15 years ago and I haven’t shot mechanical since

Reapers have always flown straight and done an excellent job for myself and the kids. Unlike some of the other popular ones, Ive always been able to reuse them....very rarely snap a blade and never ever bent or damaged a ferrel. I have a new pack of the NAP Spitfires only because I found a unopened 3-pack at an estate sale a couple years ago for $3 .....bought them for backups. Figured Id try them, but reluctanct to change what has been working so well.

I'm not an expandable guy, but the new Sevr brand mechanicals have gotten high rating from many testers.
