We are still setting on good sign but the coyotes seem to have other things in mind. We picked up a new property today with more coyote sign than I have seen on any place yet. We watched a mangy coyote run out of annold barn. Joe picked up another Kansas bobcat today which has us both excited!

Things have started to pick up. We are seeing coyotes out in the fields now and even got to watch a bobcat running across a field. Joe connected on bobcat number three for him along with a coyote. I was able to get back in the game and caught two coyotes. All three of the coyotes for the day came from the same farm and two of them were about 50 yards apart.

A few more pics.
On one farm we flushed a mangy coyote out of an old barn. He has been living inside the barn and even inside the old house. I set some heavy baited sets close to the old house intentionally to catch the mangy one.

The sunrises here never disappoint out here and greet us every morning! I have seen more pheasants on this trip than any previous visit.

old school house and stackyard, my guess a cat will be pelted from that spot
while its still cold wont get plugged up with skunks and possums. big boar coons are feeling romantic though and cold weather dont seem to hinder courting
