My grandpa wasn't a trapper but a collector of antiques. I remembered he had this and I found it in his blacksmith shop this weekend.

Has some spring stamping. Lengthened out chain, I personally don’t like that, I think it hurts the value not help it.
You might have two different springs stampings. Your camera is not the best. And the picture quality is not there so it’s hard to tell for sure.
