In 1987 I averaged $32.50 for about 100 BIG Minnesota coons. I was at my Fur Dealers one Saturday that year and 2 guys came in with a Semi-Truck with a Freezer trailer and they had more than 600 unskinned BIG Minnesota Coons that they had caught in about 2 weeks they said. WOW! And believe it or not, ALL were caught in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area! 4,000,000 people live in that area. Most of them caught in 220's stuck in a baited, 5-gallon bucket! I've Never seen anything like that (numbers) before or again! What's $32.50 X 600? We Might receive $32.50 total for 600 Big Minnesota coons today? Pathetic! I'd LOL, But it's NOT funny! LOL.

Looks like nice fluffy trapping snow. Our snow can be so heavy and damp sometimes where I trap in Southern Minnesota. Pain in the butt! The nice thing about it is that everybody else gives-up just when the fur gets really Prime.

Guess I'm just a guy who traps. Sometimes we get 2-5 feet of wet snow in a day or two in the lake effect zones. Tough to keep trapping during that. None the less digging to and even finding your traps lol
