I have a Single Six I bought brand new in 1970 . Never a problem

I have one. For the price a very nice revolver.

I've put 2250 rounds through it with no problems.

it's a ruger , they work , not expensive , IMO way better than a heritage RR

mine stay loaded in a holster in my little tool bag so I can grab the bag as I walk out the door have the gun ready to go with spare ammo and a few tools

Those K22’s look similar to the High Standard “Camp Gun” in .22mag I have. It’s a 9 shot. Cylinder opens by pulling pin 1/4” rather than the thumb release on the k22’s. It’s a shooter too.

Just bought a Wrangler in late November. If my wife asks, it’s for my 3 month old son. Been great for dispatch on the line and fun to shoot.

If anyone has a preferred holster brand I’d be all ears! Thought it would be cool if I had one made from tanned beaver tail

Those rugers look awesome. But I can’t get over the price of the heritage for a gun that’s going to be used not polished and photographed. Dunham 89 bucks after rebate.

heritage i had did not stand up to heavy use. bought when they first came out. my single six has took everything i put it through

I got a Heritage Rough Rider for Christmas (adjustable sights, and it came with a .22 Mag cylinder), haven't shot it very much yet but it puts the bullets where they need to go at 15 yards

First 3 years used it to check coon traps 50-75 coons each year. Zero misfires no issues.
Plus west it out 3 times still money ahead for cost of some of those pictured. Just my take.

As a kid I always wanted a Ruger Bearcat, but could never seem to afford one.

the wranglers have a cheaper frame to hit the low price point. They do that and work well but will not hold up like a single 6 or single 10 with long term hard use. but few guns get true hard use l
or even shot much. So a wrangle will last most many lifetime's.

I can't tell you how close I have been to buy the one with adjustable sights they finally came out with. but I don't need one. I will never wear out one of my mark 2 or single 10.

I prefer the colt woodsman semi auto I'm not really a fan of Ruger wheel guns but I've shot one and its kinda nice
