Hi! I did germination tests for my 25 seed offerings for 2025 back at the end of Nov. and early Dec and my 2023 raised seeds still have mostly very high germination rates. Imagine that, garden seeds don't suddenly drop down to low viability in a year or two. I understand why the big guys clear out their seeds at the end of year because they have more product to sell for next year but to often infer that seeds won't sprout in a year or two isn't usually correct. https://dakprstreamseed.us/Google is still limiting my on-line store's visibility because I'm supposedly "misrepresenting" things. Americans still us Google for about 90% of their on-line searches. I started an Google Ads "campaign back in early April last year (started with $185) and it went for about a week before they stopped it because of my "badness". I could never get any "exactness" out of them of what I was doing wrong. They continue to hold over $100 of mine and haven't done anything with it (except make interest off of it) since last April. I obviously didn't follow through with my consumer protection action threats that I state in this Substack essay I published last August. If I can't get Google Ads unstuck in the next month or so, maybe I will go forward and see if I state government actually does care about me. We'll see... https://sodakfred.substack.com/p/my-unresolved-fight-with-google-ads

[quote][On a serious note, you have a nice selection of products./quote] Thank you. Hopefully have some more to add for next year. And maybe have plenty of Bloody Butcher to make Donnersurvivor a deal he can't refuse P.S. I always appreciate some good sarcasm! I just don't know if "Deepack" and "Ajay" get it

There's a huge number of Facebook seed groups that it may be worth posting on, if you haven't already done so.
Keith Thanks Keith! I've entertained that thought. I have mixed emotions about "interrupting" people they way that FB and Youtube do when looking at things but if people are already sort of focused on a theme, such as garden seeds, then perhaps its not that much of "in your face" sort of advertising. Since I've had this little Shopify "store", I've been hit up occasionally by companies that want to make my store "way better" by contacting me (yes, they can find my contact information). One even said they had checked me out and were sure my store could do $5,000 a month if I hired them but I told them that I didn't even have $5,000 in merchandise last year. That seemed to cool the conversation. However, I had one persistent gal, I think she was actually out of BC, that wanted to open a SMS (texting) ad campaign for me. I think the 3rd time I told her that I don't like to get ads through texts so I don't want to do that to other people, she finally got it that it was a "No". We'll see what happen yet this winter and early spring. A lot of people are still finally getting back to normal life after the holidays. I just got my Burpee's physical catalog a week ago. There may be still time

Which one of your beans would recommend for a nonbean eating family. We have learned to love blackened peas and would like to venture out into more dry legumes. I'll research that. [quote][That's the game,.sprout seeds between wet paper towels. germination rates should determine placing. If you have the room , seed accordingly , that will give you a more accurate indication./quote] That's how I did it, use two attached, some times three sections of paper towels, place seeds with room for each in one end, roll it all up, and place into gallon food storage bag, roll that up, check in 7 to 10 days. This year, a re-wetted the bigger seeds (beans and corn) in the middle of the time period. Beans especailly sucj up much of the moisture out of the paper towels. Black Coco Beans ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/01/full-47056-243249-dscn4169.jpg) "Blue" corn I hadn't thought about pre-sprouting in the spring time before planting but yeah, that may generate a more uniform emerging out of the soil.

Full disclosure. I haven't eaten many of my dry beans because I'm always trying to get enough for storage, growing and selling stock. I did do a quick look for recipes and found these (I'm sure there are numerous others) for Hidatsa Shield and the Knuttle (Mayflower) beans. i Haven't tried these myself but they do look tasty. https://shopfoodocracy.com/blogs/re...v8NZIogkL9R46UnDV4ysku7jFUf5bQ3A3AlGhp0Qhttps://shopfoodocracy.com/blogs/re...SO3KxHyWVeIl4C-zQhRQI4u_CEuqHAKndJZ8vFGAAs for marsupial magnet's questioned about how his family likes "blackened" peas so wondering what beans would be good "blackened", it appears most good green beans would probably do he trick. Given the beans I have to offer, the Cranberry beans might be worth a shot because people also eat those when young as fresh beans. Cranberry beans when green have some pink to purplish speckles and short stripes on them. They might be worth a try. This recipe isn't using those specifically but blackened green beans in general. https://debsdailydish.com/blackened-green-beans/mnsota- Thanks for the continued info. I'd love to see some of your garden photos if you have any

Thank you Keith!
[quote][Will you be adding more varieties in the future?/quote]
Yes, if things hold together. I don't try to make hybrids so new stuff will be varieties that have been around a good while and bred true.
