When grinding mice for bait is there anything you need to do to prepare them? Do you need to try to remove the guts or just grind then whole? Thanks!

Any cowboy from Kansas that wears a stormy hat and gives advice on something, it all should be taken with a grain of salt or two. smile

Truth....
My daughter did something not too smart several years ago, when her mother asked her what was she thinking when she did it, her answer was , seemed like something Seth would. I sat her down and we had a talk.....

I grind them whole same way the critters eat them. I had a cat that could eat around a stomach and leave it on the porch.

Hold your left hand out in front of you palm down. Now take your right hand and slap the left sharply. Bad boy:):):)

Out of curiosity, how do you plan to use it - what kind of trap, animal etc?

They make excellent K9 bait Skrak. My thought process for using them is the animals routinely hunt for them, used in a dirthole set it is a natural smell, the ground form is much harder for the animal to run off with than a whole mouse so they spend more time at the set resulting in a greater chance of a catch.
