Use the Rule of 72 to determine what your rate of return would be if you purchased gold or silver 30 years ago. You will be surprised that the yield is not so great, and possibly less than other investments (not considering taxes). I don't think Gold should be considered an investment as much as a hedge, or protection against inflation or economic upheaval, which is very probably coming at some point. Having 5-10% physical gold in your portfolio could be a smart thing to do. Also something you can pass on to another generation and not suffer tax consequences.

Spending reductions will kill the elderly, starve the children and handicapped, and create more homeless people.
At least that is what the media will tell you.

That’s why nations are adopting bitcoin
A strategic bitcoin reserve seems too be gaining more traction Maybe so, but Bitcoin is still never going to be a tangible asset. It can evaporate when an internet goes down (like an EMP). You NEED an internet connection to utilize Bitcoin.

Are u asking about a global lack of electricity??
It’s digital,,,,,
If for whatever reason there was no electricity?? Bitcoin(blockchain network) would go dormant until electricity was restored,,,
You need electricity to preform a transaction,,,,
