$36+ trillion equates to every single TAXPAYING HOUSEHOLD in America's share of the National debt being a tiny bit over one million dollars. I don't see us being able to pay this off by just taxing the rich. The combined wealth of All 801 Billionaire's in America amounts to a little over six trillion dollars, with an annual combined income of six hundred+ billion dollars. If the U.S. taxed all of our Billionaire's at 100% it wouldn't be a drop in the bucket of just the interest payment on the National debt. 41% of all Federal tax dollars now go just to the interest payment on the National debt, and that does not include paying off any principle. The only answer I see is massive inflation that would allow the country to pay down the debt with smaller dollars. Any other suggestions?? Cutting entitlements would upset almost every Liberal AND Conservative, with very few exceptions.

There's no paying back the debt. I think it was Jefferson who warned the people not to get involved with a centralized banking system. All fiat currencies in history have failed. It's just a matter of when for the USA.

That’s why nations are adopting bitcoin

A strategic bitcoin reserve seems too be gaining more traction

Use the Rule of 72 to determine what your rate of return would be if you purchased gold or silver 30 years ago. You will be surprised that the yield is not so great, and possibly less than other investments (not considering taxes).

I don't think Gold should be considered an investment as much as a hedge, or protection against inflation or economic upheaval, which is very probably coming at some point. Having 5-10% physical gold in your portfolio could be a smart thing to do. Also something you can pass on to another generation and not suffer tax consequences.

Spending reductions will kill the elderly, starve the children and handicapped, and create more homeless people.

At least that is what the media will tell you.

Maybe so, but Bitcoin is still never going to be a tangible asset. It can evaporate when an internet goes down (like an EMP). You NEED an internet connection to utilize Bitcoin.

Are u asking about a global lack of electricity??

It’s digital,,,,,

If for whatever reason there was no electricity?? Bitcoin(blockchain network) would go dormant until electricity was restored,,,

You need electricity to preform a transaction,,,,

If the whole world loses electricity we will have bigger worries.
