Didn't Jesus eat with the disciples after the resurrection? He may not have had to eat but He must have liked to eat even in a glorified body. He was there but I don’t believe He asked for a menu.

This is a great discussion. It does lead to more questions but a great discussion nonetheless.
Does the sinner shed all their sin before they can accept Christ?
Accepting means He is already there, but evil cannot be in His presence so how does that work? Sinners are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb - Jesus. They have not shed their sins - He removes them and they are covered with the blood covenant. Hence, why He was and is the perfect sacrifice. Through faith - we believe. If we could just shed sins - we would have had no need of the redemptive sacrifice of Christ. Jesus was around evil scripturally several times - not sure what you mean by evit cannot be in His presence. Those afflicted even recognized Christ, satan tempted Jesus directly.

Learned something new, thanks.

Learned something new, thanks. It was before he was crucified.Jesus knew what was going to happen to him but did it anyways to give each of us a chance at Heaven. He even told one of his disciples Peter that he would deny Jesus 3 times before the rooster crowed.

Seems fish and honey were on the menu. He must have liked it though since He ate it. I sure hope in glorification a medium rare steak is still on the menu.

He was there but I don’t believe He asked for a menu. Luke 24:42–45: After appearing to his disciples, Jesus asks if they have anything to eat, and they give him a piece of broiled fish and some honeycomb. He takes it and eats it in their presence.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Jesus is still fully human and fully God. It wasn't a temporary reality. Prove me wrong.

Jesus (at least on earth) was fully God and fully man. He ate, went to the bathroom, farted, slept, sweated, shivered, cried as a baby, etc etc etc just like every other human. .......and bled to

Sin cannot stand in the presence of God the Father. Jesus stands between us and the Father as mediator. It is through (or in) Jesus that we experience Life in God's Presence. It is also through Jesus that God's abundant Life has invaded this present realm of Death. Because Jesus is fully human and fully divine, he can stand in the gap. He is the place where the rule of Heaven and the rule of Earth meet. It's a two-way street. We can enter into God's space, and God is invading our space, washing away the stain of sin and death and filling us and the rest of Creation with the Glory of God. Thy kingdom come. On earth as it is in Heaven.

HT, when I said Jesus emptied himself of being God, you commented about this being reverted back to the Greek. Not sure what you were referring to.
Reading from my copy of the Vulgate edition which is translated from the Hebrew and Greek, Philippians 2: 6-7: "His nature is, from the first, divine and yet he did not see in the rank of Godhead, a prize to be coveted, he dispossessed himself, and took the nature of a slave, fashioned in the likeness of men, and presenting himself to us in human form, and then lowered his own dignity, accepted an obedience which brought him to death, death on a cross."
My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.
