When I go work on the north slope we work 90+ hours a week, I'm ready to go home when my hitch is over. Cutting timber out of a camp we work 6 hours days (L&I rule for cutters) and we work 6 days a week, so I have more "me" time to go trap, hunt, and fish after work. On the slope it's a rotational schedule (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off) in a logging camp most guys just stay until they're threatened with a divorce if they don't go home
