There is a bunch of various aged scat on a wooden logging bridge crossing a small, 5 foot wide, 2 feet deep creek. Something ate a robin recently. Can't tell if it was the same critter that made all the scat.

Bobcat. Best way to tell is giving it a taste. Normally just a a half a piece.

Definitely bobcat. The tootsie roll look is often the scat configuration of a high protein diet with hair and fur holding it all together.

Cats are notorious for taking a dump on bridges or even concrete spillways down here. Set both sides and catch multiple cats. Find a toilet where you can make a set right beside it and catch a bunch as well. Best for me on a flat set beside a toilet and a dirt hole across from it about 30ft was 4 cats and a fox on the flat set and 1 kitty and 1 fox in the dirt hole in a 3 week period. Yeah, we have a bunch of bobkitty’s, lol.
