This is not a joke or funny.....in ohio.... older women on Christmas day on her porch was bitten...mauled by neighbor's domestic hogs that were loose and she bleed to death.......something sounds funny because on newscasts ....mayor....police....all neighbors...they all refuse comment & are silent....will not even release hog owners name or address...relatives asked for welfare check only reason she was found deceased....sounds like something ferral hogs would do.......

A link would be helpful. Nothing unusual about it, they never release names unless charges are filed. It prevents people from spreading rumors all over the internet.

Back in the nineties, a hog farmer who lived near a friend of mine, was eaten by his hogs. The farmer was in his eighties. They don't know if he had a heart attack first or if he was just knocked down and eaten. My friend got a call from the farmer's widow to come and shoot all the hogs on the farm. My friend said he shot hogs until he never wanted to shoot a hog again.

We used to dispose of possum, coon, fox and coyote carcasses into the hog lot at night. The sounds were horrifying, especially when the skulls got popped.
In the morning you didn't find much left. No bones, no guts, nothing left but colons.

How the H do 2 pigs kill someone. How did these animals become aggressive? No charges because they are livestock? No way. Someone's animals, pet or otherwise, leaves their property and kills someone! The owner is criminally and civilly liable. This should warrant serious charges. Betcha if it was a police or sheriff's mom there would be charges.

Knew a fella that would raise a hog or two in his barn. He also had chickens that were loose in the barn. If one of the chickens died or was hurt he would ring it's neck and throw it in the pen with the hogs. It wouldn't last 15 seconds.

I was about 5 or 6 when visiting the neighbors , a chicken flew into the hog pen.
A lot of sticky mud in there.
It got stuck in the mud and within seconds the mother hog had it tore apart.
I remember a piglet biting an egg yoke ant it busting on it's face.
That was something to see at 5 or 6, for someone that was from a suburb .
Spent my life on a farm from the age of 4-5 on.
Read that a hog farmer was a serial killer in Oregon , that fed his hogs the bodies.

This is a bad deal for sure. Just one more reason we all should pack and carry a side arm no matter where we are at. In my lifetime I have heard of or read many news reports of hogs killing a person or bulls or cows also doing damage to someone... often results were fatal. Ya just never know what will happen when you least expect it !

Untill the autopsy is finished its premature to assume the hogs killed her. At 75 she may well have fell and died in the snow and the hogs came along and enjoyed the meal. Or they very well could have knocked her over or come upon her if she had fallen and started eating her alive. To early to tell yet.
