Olive oil for me, about 2 years now. Yes now for awhile. Butter or suet here about the only seed oil I get is chips and it is once in a great wile . Some times you just have to have them . For the most part we do not eat any processed foods trying to stick to meat and potato type of meals. Does make different in how you feel I make my own potato chips, way better for you. You can season them with what ever you like

There is a local tavern that prides itself on frying their offerings in beef tallow. Oddly enough (or maybe not so oddly) they were the first to ban smoking in their establishment before it was mandatory.
I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. O Lord please don't let me be misunderstood.

Snowpa, real buttah is very good for you. No worries.
Dave, good for you. The history of refined seed oil , used as lubricants in engines , with chemical bleaching processes that makes it even more caustic, an additive in varnish , etc, will break anyone from putting it in their body. Plus the time it takes for the body to finally detox and rid itself of all that toxin.
Today, I was just ordering more of what I like…
Extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed, coconut unrefined oil, avocado unrefined oil , and sesame oil, which is not processed and refined chemically with the toxins that other oils are. Though it shouldn’t be heated too hot in stir fry, or it affects its quality.
And always real buttah. And Redman natural salt, mined underground in America.
It’s amazing how many products seed oils are present in. But once you get the brands down that you want, it is easy to steer clear of the bad stuff.
Its revealing to see a chart of heart trouble, cancers, and many other diseases rise by the year right next to the usage of seed oils , decade by decade, to present.
You will be amazed how much better you feel . In all aspects.

Olive oil for years now, started using some avocado oil and coconut oil recently, lard too. If I could locate a reasonable source of suet I'd make tallow also...
Seed oils are canola, soy, corn, etc. Isn't coconut a seed?

Seed oils are canola, soy, corn, etc. Isn't coconut a seed? No. It is not a seed, but a fruit. The inner white flesh is made into oil, the same as palm fruit. It comes in either refined or unrefined properties. Unrefined is what to use.
