Low lifes are in every community. More people means more low lifes. I wonder how important a bigger population of minnows will be to folks that got burned out? I bet people whose kids got attacked by coyotes or ate by lions are not nearly as anti consumptive use. You get what you vote for. Some may grow up a little. I wish I knew how to convince them that we trappers and hunters want healthy populations. That the needs of humans are important too. That wolves are not endangered and not needed where livestock is being produced. We humans can fulfill our role as alpha predators and do a better job than wolves in these states.

DEI, Affirmative Action, whatever you want to call it is a large part of why we as a society have been nose diving for decades. When jobs are allocated not based on capabilities or accomplishments, but rather if you have XX chromosomes, pigment in your skin, or have a limp wrist, things are bound to go south. For instance, I don’t care about any traits for a commercial airline pilot, I just want the best person doing the job of getting me from point A to point B…. Weirdly this is lost on many today….

yes TC1. if I need a heart surgeon I don't care about their race gender or sexual preference I just want the best in the field.



On the other hand Probably going to be some decent deals available on land. But I'm sure the big money will grab it all up and rebuild it.

The current damage estimate is 150 billion dollars and the fires are still roaring on. That's more than many countries entire GDP.
