1. if a fox is already coming to an area,
should I still use gland lure and pee
or just bait at my set?
2. I found a dirthole the fox made to hide food
and set C. R. around it, should I set a fold hold
in front of and bait his hole or leave it be and bait nearby?

A CR or snare that is not in a trail isnt going to catch unless some freak event occurs. You are better off setting a foothold there. If you have more footholds than places to set traps, doesnt hurt to set multiple there, especially as you're just starting.

Unless you are setting a trail, you need to use some combination of bait and lure. You can use either separately at a set but you'll have better luck using both.

You should use a foothold at dirt hole sets

Use a foothold a little ways in front of the hole, set 2 or 3 spaced out if you have them.

rebate his hole and lures or just as is with footholds. my c.r.s are on a path I had to take a course for them so I understand them well it's the footholds and animal behavior I'm learning.

… I’d put a little lure in the hole partner
