I made 5 new sets yesterday and ran a 20% catch ratio . The set I used was a walk through set similar to a walk through for bobcats . He was caught on the border where two packs share territory. The bait manufacturer was from the J.M SMUCKERS COMPANY . I think it was the dominant male out seeing if anyone has crossed over in his territory.

Good catch. Blind trail sets work very well without bait. Just make sure you block and guide them well and its a done deal. Set the walls, corners and pinch points. Thats a fat one. Might check for sex. Could be ready to drop a litter of 5 soon or just a chubby mouse eating well on your smuckers jam.
Start saving a bunch of them and I would be interested.

Full body mount I presume

When you set against the walls put your mouse trap with the end up against the wall so the mouse is coming in from the side instead of over the trap.Less sprung traps and leg catches that way.
