I believe God allows these beautiful manifestations in nature to allow us moments of joy amid all the challenges and sorrows this earth life comes with. I call them Heaven Hugs. I always thank HIM for them because I believe recognizing HIS hand in all these things and expressing our gratitude to HIM is important and brings us closer.

My fishing buddy and I had an awesome day catching a bunch of rainbow trout at Flaming Gorge. This sunset over Steinaker Reservoir on the way home was the perfect capstone to a wonderful day with a dear friend. God is great.

The next two were taken by my son ..... I can ask him ....he's a fan of the android operating system/ camera....says they have better cameras than Apple

All three of them are some of the best sunset pics I've seen, and taken with a phone no less!! I was figuring it must have been some good camera that was used, not a phone!

I posted this picture about a year ago when I took it. It's still one of the best sunrises I have ever witnessed.

Angela I sure have to agree with that. I do know the phone cameras are way better now than a lot of the old point and shoot. Even with the good cannon digital I have that's now 20 years old. I don't think I could ever catch a sun set as cool as those photos. I've probably taken 100s of sunset photos in my life. While some are beautiful they never look like I saw that sun set.
