My granddaughter enjoys trying unusual foods with me, we’ve had bobcat, muskrat, starlings, ect. She talked me into trying fox, I didn’t really want to. We both thought it was okay but not something we’ll likely make again. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/01/full-272-243584-img_1906.jpeg)

well, at least you tried it.
If you had to describe the taste, what would you compare it to?
How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?

well, at least you tried it.
If you had to describe the taste, what would you compare it to? My granddaughter said, "It has an unusual taste...and it lingers. LOL She later said she might try it again but we should prepare it in a different way. It does have an unusual taste, closest I could say that it is similar to would be lamb maybe.
Eh...wot?

When you both start to drool everytime you see a mouse or a vole shoot across the snow you have come full circle. Especially if Doug can jump high in the air and pounce like a fox, punching through the snow, coming up with a mouse or vole in his teeth. It's cool that your granddaughter will try unusual foods Doug. If you're ever around Cincinnati, Ohio, you should take your granddaughter to Jungle Jim's International Market. The Smithsonian declared it a National Treasure. They have the best selection of odd and foreign foods in the US. Jungle Jim's carries over 4000 different types of beer. Keith

Around here I can't even get the Ravens to eat them.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Glad you tried it and can say you did.
Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!
