That is the only way to do it!

Could even hold the horseradish, tobasco and lemon.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Gordon Ramsey, maybe…

I shuck them and cook in a muffin pan with butter
You can cook them in the shell the same way ,,,,, more of a pain to me ,,,,
Add anything you like,,,,,bacon crumbles,,,,, parmasion cheese….. ect
I like to cook them until firm almost over cooked,,,,, blackened butter done….

Scrub them good to get rid of the sand on the shell first

If not raw, maybe a little Parmesan, or just a touch of bourbon and cook till warm.

We just put the oysters on a big cooky sheet on top of a propane turkey cooker and cover them with wet burlap. When they pop open, they are close to being done. Leave them a little longer and check a few of them for the amount of doneness which you prefer. For me, they need no sauce.
I like oysters.
Sauce just gets in the way of that.

Last time I was in New Orleans I preferred the Pier 424 oysters over Dragos.

Your options. Hot sauce, Old Bay, Horseradish, Worchester Sauce, Cayane Pepper, Bacon, etc. . . . it's all according to what YOUR taste buds like :-)

If raw try this. Mix soy, wasabi and old bay. Really good on raw oysters. Or the classic cocktail sauce second choice.

Cooked I just prefer a roasted oyster dipped in hot butter.

We also do oyster Rockefeller, and casinos. Put them in muffin tins rather than the shells after shucked, easier to handle .

Raw with dab of cocktail sauce ... squeeze of lemon.

Make an oyster Stew with the rest
