The Tactacam camera does not require a SD card. If you want to get videos and burst shots then one needs to be installed.

Started using Browning Defender Pro Scout Max cameras this year and am very pleased with the results so far they come with Sims cards for either ATT or Verizon. Often my phone shows a single bar of service yet cameras always seem to send pics within a couple minutes. One thing I like about this camera is you can set it to take multiple standard or rapid fire shots or videos they claim that with their Smart IR Video that even if you have video length set to 2 minutes it will continue taking a video until the movement stops.
They do require an SD Card to operate though
They have several plans available depending on what kind of results and number of pictures you want

With Cuddelink you only need a home base camera to have decent cell signal. You can mount that on a higher object or say on top of a hill by itself (you can get a home base camera with or without the camera part in it) all the other cameras within say 1/4 mile (depending on topography and vegetation type) link to it. They do not need cell signal. The home base camera can be set to send the photos to your email as often as you prefer. I have mine transmit 4 times a day.
