Got a 65lb'r the other day w/ my partner through the ice. Biggest tail either of us have ever seen which made us think he weighed more than he did. The interesting part was that his lower teeth were 3x his upper teeth. Could he even close his mouth? Could he even chew properly? If not, I don't think he was long for this world.. The other interesting thing was that he had been trapped before. He was missing 4 toes on his back foot. He had his 2nd toe nail but it was growing sideways. The other 4 were missing or mangled.

beaver teeth continually grow, they grind their upper teeth on their lower teeth and vice versa which keeps them sharp like chisels.
If a beaver breaks a tooth off or if their jaws become mis aligned thru an injury the teeth will grow to a point where they become useless and the beaver will eventually starve.
Dont know if this is what you have there or not,a pic would be good if you have one.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Lower teeth are always longer than uppers on every beaver I’ve caught.

lol

My BIL’s wife is very bougie to the point my SIL calls her Mrs. Howell. She had me get her the teeth. She made those and gave them to “Mrs. Howell” for Christmas. You should have seen the look on her face. LOL!

I already know that look! I've been married for 25 yrs. It's the same look my wife had when she came in the door and my Grandson greeted her w/ a muskrat that he caught..
