Me too. Great place for older gun parts.

A gunsmith made me a rather complicated cocking leaver for my Beretta Pintail. We couldn’t find one anywhere but he had the same gun so used his as a “model” for the new part.

Danny linked to their site and I mentioned getting quite a few obscure parts from them.

Eh...wot?

Have your brother get ahold of Paul here: https://countrycustommetals.com/

He can take care of it in short order I’d imagine. I trust him with everything needing made or fixed that’s gun related

I am glad he dropped the action out of the stock as his first step. Some of the other suggested "fixes" were disturbing to say the least.

I have nothing clever to put here.

It looks like it can be made on munual machines, eveerything doesn;t have to be CNC computer stuff all the time. Your doing doing one piece, not a production run

lol I'm sure one of those was my wd 40 and rubber mallet I've matured a lot since then and now I have proper tools so I do things the right way instead of the fast way

My brother check that eBay one out. Said it's different than his and not in a way he could machine it to work.
Must be just bit different generation or model??

My old man worked in the machine shop on a frigate during WW2, the main machinist would re make parts from the ship with a drill press, hacksaw and a file, That part looks like an easy project, but as always, YMMV

Do you think that part could be made with a metal infused resin from a 3d printer?

Talked to my brother this morning. Said he found a seat for his gun. Old retired guy he used to go to gave him a couple names and numbers of people to call. Said talked to one of the guys was pretty sure he had the part. Not sure where or who this guy is. Guess he is selling out and looking to hang it up pretty soon too.
Anyways he did have the right part as used. My brother said he only wanted $20 but he gave him $25 just because.
The guy told him that it was a common problem with that model gun.
My brother hadn't told me before. But he told this guy he had been slamming the bolt shut a bit harder than he used to. Guess the copper bullet round fit a bit snugger?? Doesn't seem to have any problems rejecting them except for the length. Does seem to be bit tight locking up??
So anyways he did put the gun together for my brother. Did tell him to dry fire it few times see that seat doesn't slip and fire.
So end of that search unless has issues with part.

Mac

If he's reloading those coppers he may want to seat them a hair deeper in the cases.
