I was hired to remove beaver from an area now flooded out to about 2 acres. I plan to start with a couple dam break sets, a castor mound or two and a food pile set. Also, if I can find feeder streams maybe a comstock swim through. Any other suggestions? I haven't seen it yet so I'm loading up all the stuff.

Thanks, Wally

Sounds like a lot to start with. If I tried that, I would catch a few and end up with 1 smarty that would take me 2 weeks to finally catch. Hopefully you get the big female on the first night. Save her sac oil as it may prove useful if you are struggling with that last spooky one.
Good luck

Start with castor sets, then blind sets if any left afterwards, dam break if set right is paydirt to mop up.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

First days check. Scored two. One on castor mound and one on a curiosity bait. Blind set had the trap down the drowning rod but no animal. Others were empty.

Right side up now. You don’t have to tilt your head

Sounds like you have a handle on this.

I do not know the laws in Indiana, but in Tennessee you must make an application with the Wildlife Commission, show experience in trapping animals and provide proof of liability insurance. The Wildlife Commission will then approve or disapprove your application.
