You don't need to see the bullet holes at 100 yards, shoot your group, then walk up to the target and measure it. If you can't see the bullet holes when you get to the target, then I would blame the scope. Lol

I'm actually forced to have one in that I have 15 or 20 thousand 22 shells sittin' around.

My 22 lrs are a remington 552 speedmaster I bought in 1992 new,It has never been fired-mint condition.
I also have a remington nylon 66 and a remington viper Both trapline rifles back in the day.
I had a mossberg palomino when I was a kid, carried it everywhere,It got swiped by some dirtbag back in around 1975
have had a few that I sold over the years,A cooey single shot,a cooey semi auto, and a lakefield bolt repeater.
All my other 22s are magnums.

I've got a Ruger 10/22, a Ruger Mark II pistol, a Ruger Single Six revolver with swappable 22lr/22mag cylinders and a Taurus Circuit Judge rifle, also with swappable 22lr/22 mag cylinders. Oh and an octagon barrelled trapdoor rifle I got in a trade and have never fired. The others have thousands of rounds through them apiece. Had an old Coast to Coast single shot growing up, that was my first gun, but it was also my dad's first gun and I let him have it back. Otherwise, like Boco, all my other 22s are magnums.

Oh and I have a 22 lr barrel for my Contender.

A 10/22 is my most used .22 rifle, a Ruger wrangler is my trapline pistol. My favorite.22 rifle is a 3 way tie between a Henry lever gun I got as a kid, a browning t-bolt, and my pump action Henry. I don't have a "favorite" of any pistol, they're less sentimental and more just a convenient tool for me, shooting them gives me no joy whatsoever.

10-22 stainless carbine is my trap line gun, but my favourite is my dads old browning lever, the action is as smooth as silk. Got a couple old cooey bolts as well.

my dad bought a 22lr when I was 11 he did not have one before that he had just his shotgun.

I know a few people with no guns

I know a guy with 3 handguns all 9mm and I think he has actually only shot one , and he thinks his 500 rounds of ammo is a lot.
I think 500 rounds of 9mm is a nice range trip.

I started giving guns away recently , first 2 I gave away were single shot 22s , so now my nieces can say they each own one as well.

I was thinking , that I didn't have a 22 rifle from the time I moved out of my parents house at 17 and when my wife bought me a 10/22 the first Christmas we were married I was 22. then I remembered I did have a 22 pistol and I borrowed my dad's 10/22 any time I wanted.

my father in law has 0 guns , wouldn't touch one after he got back from Vietnam.

22lr is the most commonly used caliber in the US even in self defense shootings they say just by the sheer volume of them and it tends to be what people keep handy , they might have been keeping it for armadillos but it worked when the criminal showed up.

I apparently have a thing for Ruger 22s which is not a bad thing.

as you get more city you start to see only handguns and primarily in what you would consider self defense calibers 380 , 9mm , 38spl , 40, 45 , 357

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I always wanted one of those Browning semi automatic with the tiny middle. Cool looking little rifles.

I have a hand gun and a rifle.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Would be my first choice for a survival tool, if I had one. Them little bitty booolits don’t weigh hardly nothing but pack a heck of a punch. Least that’s what I heard from a friend. Orange Man not nearly as orange as he was, . More silvery now but he sure be doing good. If he keeps knocking the teeth out of the revenuers I might not worry about getting me one.

The voodoo’s are nice…
The Christensen ranger is what I leaned towards, very light and takes 10/22 mags.

It’s such a fun and cheap gun to shoot.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
