Friskies Seafood Sensations is the only thing yet I've found that cats will readily eat. Walmart has it in big bags for a decent price. Most stuff they won't touch. Special Kitty from Walmart has been on the front porch for two months and only a hungry possum will touch it.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Our's eat whatever's cheap from bomgaar's. Plus whatever dog food and table scraps they can manage.

They'll either eat it or starve to death, then go get a new kitty....

I've never seen a cat starve to death, lol

My daughter has a Tibetan spaniel, ok, not a cat, that had severe itching and scratching do to a food allergy. She switched to a salmon base food and the dog went on strike. Wouldn't touch it, this went on for two weeks with just a few treats to hold him over....

Eats that stuff like he's getting paid to do it now, grin

You can’t quit a cat “cold Turkey” like a dog. If they hold out for three or more days on a new food that you’re trying to force they can develop hepatic lipidosis and then serious problems can arise. Most cats become addicted to the carbohydrates in dry food and if one brand has more carbs, they will prefer that. It is tough to switch over.
Friskies is a lower quality dry food loaded with fillers. You may think you’re getting a good deal but the cats will eat more and poop more. You can try a more nutrient dense food. Purina ONE is a fine dry food for the price that most people can afford. I like Purina Pro plan but it’s a bit more pricey. I get mine at staff discount tho.

As always, wet food is a more appropriate food choice for a carnivore; but it’s really tough to get a cat to switch over if they have been fed dry most of their life.
Hope this helps!

Our ouside cats eat whatever we put out for them. Typically cheap and on sale. They will also eat broccoli when I put out scraps and leftovers. Picky cats will star e around here and it goes against animals nature to starve when food is available. Yours must be eating something. Now if it's the same stuff out for long.periods and not shaped out . Typically we feed only enough they eat it all when they leave some we feed to much. if some are not home at feeding time they can wait tell tomorrow. Keeps from leaving food out and attracting varmits and mice.

They Wife and daughter feed some more expensive stuff to the inside/outside cats

True!
That’s because they are killing and eating songbirds, rabbits, etc
They make them everyday.
Getting a new one is easy.

My cat eats any kind of cat food, especially the canned kind. She often eats the dog's food if he don't clean it all up right away.

Ours eat whatever we give them. Their main reason for being is to kill mice anyway. I don’t mind having to pick up little mouse gut piles.

I want a cat food that's most attractive to coons with nothing else added. I know coons eat anything but which one will make them do a 180° headed to your DP.

I shot and field dressed a deer about 50 yds from my pop up blind. Everything but the stomach and intestines were gone the next day, About a week later I was in the same blind when a cat came along and started eating on the stomach and intestines. It spent about 45 minutes there, and came back another day. That surprised me a bit.
