Time for the annual good times. Snow on the ground, coffee's ready. and finally, bunny numbers are up. My wife and I take a few days every winter when bunny numbers are good, to harvest a few for meat for our white-sauce pizza. Nothing better. After three years of no bunnies, we finally got decent spring moisture, and their numbers bounced back a bit.

My wife, Lisa, with her 28-gauge and a coupla' bunnies.

They're sitting out there, just waiting for you!

In our country, they seem to love anthills on a sunny day.

Nephew, wife, and neice, love the spring days.

A .22 rimfire, a 28-gauge shotgun, or a .410 are good calibers. I prefer the little .22, while my wife, Lisa, likes her 28-gauge.

Bunny hunting is always a good time. Whether you're flushing them, using dogs, or stalking. hanks for sharing the pictures.

I get after them with a flintlock from time to time.

The thing that makes hunting so enjoyable is the possible ways to go about it are only limited by your imagination A 28 gauge double barrel a 410 pump gun or bolt action A 22 in a lever pump bolt are all good choices I have taken some using my Ruger M77/22 Bolt Action when I still owned it .And was hunting spot and stalk style It was a great challenge and if I bagged a few it felt like I had a very successful day Even the simple things in life can make for a good time Thanks for a nice job on how to hunt bunnies and truly love it

Neat pictures and country. That 22 looks like a marlin 39A.

First rabbit hunt I have been on in probably 40+ years…grew up hunting with beagles and I sure did miss hearing the dogs run…I was able to pick up a rabbit hunt at a local auction donated by the black fellow in the picture…he has some of the best beagles in our area…my son and a couple of his buddies had never been rabbit hunting before let alone with beagles…they had a great time… all I wanted to do was hear the dogs run.

When numbers are up my wife and I love hunting them with .22 pistols. It's been a while and very few around this year.

United we stand.
