Apparently the upcoming Super Bowl is #59. That would mean I was 11 years old for the first one......so memories of Chiefs goes back a ways. That was back in the old Municipal stadium days.

For those also long in the tooth and with long memories.........can you remember the original Warpaint? The now retired one they show on u toob is like the zombie sissy version. The original was a paint horse.....no saddle, no bridle..........the little girl on it's back made a lap around the field at a dead run with nothing more than a handful of mane. Each and every score. Am I nuts or is that right?

Apparently I was partly right. Original rider was a guy........in full head dress. Naturally I would remember the Indian Maiden...........but they all rode bareback.
