So I stopped with the little cal. I like being able to video that's nice thanks for posting it.

nice set up i have been looking at those tri pods for a while seem so versatile. Did you hit a lot of bone to get such a big exit? I hit one running once at 225 or so and hit solid in the hips with 120 gr 6.5 a max. Think mini basket ball off side exit. Always seems like bix exits I get Are when I hit a lot of bone.
Unbelievable how much damage critters can take and still run off.
Heart shot quite a few deer , and even a bear , right threw the heart , and they ran 50 - 100 yards! Picked up speed also!
We have met the enemy and the enemy is us!

I have a Ruger Predator .308 with an IRay Bolt TH50C and a Banish suppressor that I normally run for coyotes. And I have what’s pictured, a Ruger SFAR 16” .308 with an AGM Rattler TS35 640 and a Banish suppressor that I normally run for hogs. The tripod is just a Bog DeathGrip with a Little Crow Gunworks ball head on it. The caller is an Icotec Outlaw+.
I’ll let y’in total everything up, but everything was bought over time and with trapping/plantation money except for the IRay…the wife got me that for Christmas a few years ago. I’ll get an envelope, write what I want and the cost, and as checks came in I’d cash and add money to each envelope until I reached the total. Yeah, it’s ridiculous when you total everything up, but I get paid per dead critter. Find a landowner with a hog problem and at $50 a hog all it takes is a few sounders and you’ll start filling up other envelopes of things you want, plus it’s just flat out FUN!! Everything we do cost money . No need to justify spend it on hobbies. Other guys would blow it in a bar, golf course, on cars or truck, or women. Maybe a combination and not even realize it.

Love hunting with a suppressor, hearing that bullet twist into their hide is "therapy".

Love hunting with a suppressor, hearing that bullet twist into their hide is "therapy". Haha, I even bought a new deer rifle just because it was threaded and I could suppress it. Dropped a doe between 4 bucks and they jumped and went about 15yds and came back trying to get her up to breed. In one video I posted from the scanner you can hear me say hit, miss, hit. Anyone close knows if you hit or miss, lol. That “thump” is solid. Of course that miss is very humbling, no guessing, you know when you miss.

Scanner paid off this evening. Went out to call some coyotes and after walking in and getting rifle and caller set up I walked back to the rifle and decided to scan before hitting the remote. Apparently I walked in parallel to the pigs and never knew it. All I saw was something black. Watching it I could tell it was small but quickly ruled out an armadillo or possum. I moved a few feet and saw the bigger pig. I realized it must be a sow with piglets. I got on the rifle and had to move up to get her in the scope. I figured those 165gr CoreLokts would punch through the brush and sent it! All I could see afterwards was one piglet running off, but I’m sure there were more.
