Going threw box of old stuff throwing things out. Came across this old news paper.
I never thought it was a big deal at the time but others sure did. I was just in right spot at right time had right equipment to do it safely.. Story made the AP back then news wasn't 24/7 entertainment. . Got all kinds of phone calls an praise from around country. Humane Society thought I was really special. Little did they know..
That sure went bye bye in 2005 when they had a bounty on me. LOL.
Anyways my 15 minutes of Fame..back when could really rock and roll..







Didn't get anywhere near the press in 2013 when my son and I pull a young man out of the river. He didn't survive but we sure enough rescue him. For me the big thing was I was only a few days before that okayed back to work. Had just came off my dealing with the cancer and first round with that mess.



I'm done with the cold, hard water diving. Time to hit the showers as they say. LMAO
Now gotta fight with putting my socks on.. O-well all can do is play the cards your dealt.

When I fished Sparky out of the ice hole he was in. That was before I even knew how to turn on a computer and was no trapperman that I know of. . I think I have a certificate in one of my piles old stuff. Local Humane Society made me their man of the year for saving Sparky. They had no idea I was a trapper that didn't do catch and release. LoL

The PETA girl in the cage painted like a tiger protesting the circus. That was just before the year of the cat I think. Definitely before the big cat blow up in 2005. That picture probablygot lost in first big Tman crash.
My wife took that picture of me with the cheese burger and tiger girl with my 35mm. So that picture is in a photo box somewhere. I would have scanned that to post it on Tman. To find it now I would say box would be one marked between 2003 to 2005??
Anyways I heard PETA was protesting the circus that was in town. Guy on radio from local station said he was going to get bag cheeseburgers from I think burger king. Go down hand them out by tiger girl in cage. Oh and she was supposed to be nude but painted like a tiger. So I got myself over there got me a burger went talked to young lady in cage. She wanted to know why I was harassing her. I ask why you lie your not nude.
So Got me my picture taken and once again my name in paper. Told the news paper guy I only came there because she was supposed to be nude. Was sure enough painted like a tiger but wearing a bikini. Told the news reporter. That ain't nude LMAO

Yeah I done a few things lots other people probably haven't done or tried. But there are lots of things haven't done either.
Just got to try keep moving before I fall down can't get back up.
