On a very good note. The U.S will save nearly a Trillion dollars from pulling out of the Paris climate accord.

This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole," said Edenhofer, who co-chaired the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group on Mitigation of Climate Change from 2008 to 2015.

So what is the goal of environmental policy?

What I find hilarious is their reasoning. More pollution in todays world. But when a record is tied or gotten close to it is one set in 1950"s or earlier. Any of you remember the term ACID RAIN. Had the kids afraid to go outside in a rain storm. People bought car covers so paint wouldn't peel off. Think it was mid 1970's

and the "answer" to acid rain was [Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!]...America had to drastically reduce our energy consumption.

First real good winter weather this year so far,unfortunately it is only going to last a week.
In my lifetime I remember we could count on cold weather in November thru march-guaranteed with one mid winter thaw.
Now we cannot count on any prolonged cold at all,and it has been getting worse for at least the last 20 years.
For northern trappers this global warming really sucks.

Mid January the snow melted off our deck up here. Rain and puddles in the streets, although forecast next week says minus ten.

Yep you northern folks are.getting warmer per say. But how long was extreme cold weather around? It will change,probably not in our lifetime. Might be 100 years before the normal winter pattern returns. Mother nature does it on her time. Not ours.

When we dug a basement into the rock my house is built on we found dinosaur bones, a shark tooth and a large crocodile tooth.The elevation here is about 5400'. Over geologic time the climate changes regardless of what man does. To think man has the ability to stop it is delusional.
