The question from when this story originally got traction was because of the shift is somewhat drastic is whether or not we are seeing a flip in the poles.

it has been moving for as long as we have been tracking it
but it stayed in a similar spiral for a hundred years not moving much , now it is moved in a more strait line the last 20 years

We are going to need more electric cars with magnetic fields just in case it starts to wobble then the gov can give an alert and every one can go in the direction needed so the earth will right its stuff. Sounds expensive but a necessity to save mankind at least until we can migrate to Mars.

Since my boundary lines are north and south will I need to move the cornerstones so I'm not trespassing on my neighbor. Just when we hope in retirement things will get easier it always seems to get more complicated.

Man can spend all the money in the world to change that, and it won't make a difference to this planet!

The magnetic shift also affects GPS accuracy. They have to make new adjustments for the magnetic field constantly. Plus there's that pesky radiation that could be let in as a result of the shift.
