I have been out of trapping for a few years now but plan on resuming again in the next few years. I know a lot has changed since I had to step away from it. I went looking to try and find parts for modifying all of my old double long spring traps consisting mostly of Victor #3's and a couple other brands close to that size. Every trap supply house I looked at had the PIT pans and base plates but what I am looking for is the replacement jaws. If I remember correctly I bought a pair of sleepy creek #4 offset jaws and I installed them and they worked great. Forgive me if some of my sizes are a little off but I did all this over 4 years ago. I see that sleepy creek has gone out of business though so does anyone know of any other option I have or can point me in the right direction as to where and get replacement off set jaws for those double long springs?? I have close to 100 of them.....

Why do you need to replace the jaws?

Well to answer your question, I took all the jaws off the traps and tossed them. They were full of all kinds of contraptions to make them offset. I just wanted to put new jaws on them because at that time when I purchased the replacement set they looked good and I could. So now I have to get something to be able to use them....

If I find long springs or jumps at a really good price I buy them. I have a pile of old traps just for parts.

This appears to be a lesson that is being learned the hard way. Would have been worth your time to unwrap the trapper wire they had on those jaws to make them offsets. Hindsight is 20/20 though.
