How do I change the tension on the 450? It is around 1.5lb and I’d like to be around 2/2.5! I’ve bent the dog up bit then it won’t go under the pan.

Rick, I've got 4 dozen 450's and out of the box they were all over 2 lbs.
Not sure why yours are so light. I would make the dog level (straight) and check again. If not try new dogs. You could call Cavens and ask them what to do. They're very customer friendly. Please post again if you find out the fix I would be interested

Shoot, all mine out of the box were 3# just like the 550’s. Are these brand new traps?

Guess I need to order more. I had to knock mine down to a couple pounds and still caught everything from coons to coyotes.
