Hey yall, from eastern Virginia here. Had a dirthole set today, get messed with. There was tracks in the dirt, definitely a k-9 but was hard to really identify if it was a coyote or a big fox. Wasn’t huge but also wasn’t small. He never committed, looks like he just investigated it. But I’ve never had something else poop on a set. It did it on the backing, I sprayed red fox pee on the back sorta where this poop was. The poop didn’t have any noticeable hair in it, could see a few seeds. I’m thinking it was a fox, brother in law thinks a raccoon but I don’t think so. It never touched the bait or anything like that either. Was curious on some of yalls thoughts are. Not the best picture but hopefully good enough. Thanks again

Fox. I had one leave me a calling card like that about 2 inches from the trap. Not sure how he left it without getting caught, but he did. Been having a lot of issues like that this year. What part of Virginia you from?

Thanks, sorta what I was thinking. Never have had that happen before. Waiting for him to come back. Have caught two reds this year, haven’t seen a gray around here in a long time. They are few and far between. Never had one just poop on it, and leave. Made me laugh. Middlesex, king and queen, Gloucester area. Right on the line of all 3
