That’s what I was thinking, just thought it was missing some white on it.

This camera is at the only property I’ve ever caught a skunk, so that makes sense as well.

I've caught skunks with nothing more than a little white spot on the top of their head.

The time stamp is right. It gets dark here by 1845 (6:45pm) so I’m ruling out a squirrel. Not saying they don’t come out at night, but during thermal hunting the ONLY squirrels I’ve ever seen at night are Flying Squirrels.
Pretty confident it’s not a shadow either based on the moon rise times and the lack of it right now.

I’m not a skunk trapper. In fact I hate catching those things. With that said, I didn’t know skunks would have very little to no white. I guess I’ll figure it out soon enough, gonna set that place this week sometime. The camera was just there for a hog issue.
