Had the coyote work the sets. The other night the tire set and another set they worked but found the traps were frozen. I use dry sand and salt (Have not had time to make waxed dirt yet), I reset them and last night worked them again, but no foot on the pan. lots of prints an inch off the side. Its like they know exactly were the pan is. I used some venison this time. Glad I spent all this money on bait LOL. Just caught some muskrat last night and will bait them with the meat. Only got about 2 weeks left.

I've used some commercial baits that weren't too good but another thing to keep in mind is the amount u use can contribute to the attractiveness at the set. Pretty common when using a "natural " bait that quantity is greatly increased. There's a time and place for natural baits but as a general rule it's pretty easy to greatly increase the attractiveness of a single meat bait with other quality side odors.
