I have been planning to get a Mountain Feist after I lose my two oldest dogs to old age, who will both be 14 in June, including this pup's half uncle. The pup is out a litter of Kangal/Anatolian crosses I had. I think he looks great. He has a great personality too. He has not showed fear of anything. He's dominant, but not aggressive. He has a beautiful gait. I am very tempted to keep him. I want to see how he comes out. Keith

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

KeithC OP trapper Joined: May 2009 Champaign County, Ohio.	I think my favorite age for small breed puppies is 8 to 10 months and for large breeds 12 to 14 months. It's an exciting time, because it's when you can first start seeing their full potential. At those ages they make look great 1 day and terrible the next and then suddenly it just clicks in and they are doing what they were bred for. Before I got crippled up, I loved starting beagles and shorthairs. Keith
