Someone mentioned it the other day and I'm wondering what are the greatest benefits?

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Be careful with it. Most are fine, but I was on Bois Blanc Island once and the store/restaurant owner wanted to try it. Fortunately he just sipped a bit and got distracted in the kitchen or something, because he had an allergic reaction and his throat started swelling and lips tingling. Some are definitely allergic to it. Start with just a sip, wait ten minutes, couple more sips, wait ten minutes again, after that probably safe for you if no reaction. I have heard of others being allergic, but that was the only one I ever witnessed personally. Same with Sumac berry tea. i know at least two people who are allergic to that.

If you're getting paid by weight, dirt is profit.

My wife did this stuff for about six months. She got tired of messing with it. As far as we know there were no benefits from it.

Really little benefit from it unless you use the tincture made from it. And yes, it can trigger an allergic reaction in some people

I've picked up a few chunks in my wanderings. Just sat them on a shelf in my study. Gotta be bone dry by now, its been years.

Bust into small pieces and grind it with my coffee bean grinder and make like tea?

You can do that or just bust into smaller pieces and boil in a tea pot.
