Hang in there I had brain issues when I quit sugar I’ve worked through a lot of the problems I had. The head fog gone, math issues better, short term memory better, sentence composition better and my balance is back to where it was before. The tough part is the loss of what you had and if you will get it all or some back.

Do the work it’s the best thing you can do to get back to where you were before.

Finster, you have our prayers for healing every day. I was just looking over PMs from over the years and I was amazed by that reminder of laughs and kindness. I'm wishing for health and healing for you. Kerry and I are both praying here.

Finster-I wish you my thoughts and strength! I know how you are feeling because I was there the end of November. Always thought I was 6 ft. tall and bulletproof...until I was having a hard time walking, and not real sure I was going to make it out of the woods. I was having a hard time expressing things in words. To make a long story short, I have recovered nearly completely. You and I are probably very different but we also have strength and optimism. I know I don't have enough patience but that is what I need to develop to get me though to the other side, and I will. You will to.

I know it is as scary as it can be. Perfectly natural to be really scared about what is going on but you need to develop the faith and optimism that it will get better. It will.

YOU hang in there, Finster! The good folks on Trapperman offered me a lot of support and encouragement that got me though some tough times. They will do the same to you. They are good folks who care!

Still in our prayers and know that there are many people here that care about you.

Lord I pray right now that you begin to heal this individual from this stroke. Lord Your scripture tells us about the price You paid for our healing, and I believe that Finster can be healed in Jesus name. Lord I pray that as he is healed, he has this time to reflect on Your glory and majesty and just how awesome You are Lord. I pray that he be quick to get into Your Word and grow in his relationship with You. I pray You overwhelm him in this time and let him receive just a taste of Your presence like he never has. Lord I pray that no anger or any weapon that satan has coming against this individual prevail in his mind or in his spirit. Lord above all, let him realize how truly much You love him and he is not alone in this. Thank You Jesus for allowing us to intercede one for another as You intercede for us.
Lord thank You for waking me last night and giving me Zephaniah 3:17-20 for such a time as this. Thank You for letting us know the Lord your God is with us for He is mighty to save, He takes delight in us and will even quiet us with His love.
Thank You Jesus.

Finster - I encourage you to pray in the Spirit. The Lord is your creator and knows Your heart and mind. I pray you have received Him as Lord and Saviour of your life and know He hears every utterance and groaning. Cry out to Him even if you can't make words and He will understand you perfectly clear - for He loves you beyond comprehension. He knew about this before you were born and nothing is too great for our God. I pray You soon share your testimony of how you were healed.
