Great post. There's no shame admitting we need each other. Yes, one maybe needs the other more in some areas but vice versa.
Worrying about who needs who more seems kind of childish really.

rvsask, how about this, the US could get potash, all that they need, from somewhere other than Canada. It's astounding you know what obtuse means.

Is it as astounding as thinking Israel was going to be the answer to your potash? lol

Maybe you can get it from Belarus, Russia or China , the next three biggest producers?

I’m sure the freight cost will be nice, so will the tariffs. Haha I mean I realize it’ll cost us more to move it to BC or the Atlantic coast to ship overseas but let’s not pretend someone won’t buy it or that you won’t have to buy it from somebody.

I just read about how Mexico as well as us recently in the past few days turned down US orders for steel. I know, I know you don’t need it. ( but you import it) Better ramp up production then because 2 people you get from just said no.

Evan the South Dakota Farmers Union “worries about permanent damage to the states to commodities” over the tariff thing. I’m sure the article is just some left leaning fake news though.

It’s about ac trade deficit and nothing more. Anything else is smoke and mirrors.

Days, maybe weeks and that will be the case. According to Fox News, "Google will make the changes once the Department of the Interior updates the Geographic Names Information System."

Dirt, I can’t decide if that is satire, I hope so. If not, please do some reading to see what Keystone XL was for. Hint: to move Canadian Crude to Gulf Coast refineries.

Don't tell our neighbors to the north that, if they cut us off we will all starve to death.

You think the Democrats import potash? lol. No wonder your take on this is skewed. Is Pan American Grain Co the left? They’re your biggest potash importer. I’m sure the other 300 plus importers are all democrats too.

You really should look into your self sufficiency when it comes to this, you’ll quickly learn you can not even come close on this one. Does that go against the narrative?
