That pancreatic cancer is no joke, I have known 3 folks that had and met the same end. Sorry to hear it is winning yet again. Did he invite you on the trip to make you run the motor or was it your choice? I can count on one hand the number of times I ran the motor in Canada while Dad fished, he always said he was able to hit rocks as well as anyone else, so he ran the motor. All the years fishing Canadian water north & west of White River I always ran the boat. The Kid told me the day he brought it over to the house why it was a special photo to him because it told who I was. Raining & cold with no rain gear on but I was still grinning.
