My wife struggles with the lack of sunlight after a while in the winter. We have been traveling in the winter to help that out. This trip is Puerto Vallarta, so far looks to be a good time, we arrived earlier today.

Not sure if we are going fishing this trip but guessing my wife would like to. Looks like the whales are in close to shore too.

Summer depresses me.
If your wife gets depressed in winter give her a snow float and a scraper and tell her to get up and shovel the snow off the roof.
Always work to do in winter, dont know how anyone can ger bored / depressed in winter.

I'm depressed because those of y'all taking these lavish vacations have more expendable money than me....lol

But, I'm like Boco....summer is more depressing than winter here in the South.

Depression can be bad thing. Some being inside all the time never affects them the next it does. I get a lot of outside exposure in winter but being covered up pretty much except for my face I still don't get enough of those rays. Not to the point of depression but I can feel the change of not enough sun rays.
I think people that are outdoor fanatics can be more apt to get depressed because they get so much more sun than the person that isn't in the outdoors all year long. Your body just craves the sun more because you get more of it year around.

I think it affects me more as I get older. It's probably because I don't go outside as much. I never used to think about possibly breaking a hip if I fell on some ce or tripped on a snow covered stump. Now those things are a concern so it limits my activities. Wife's cancer treatments preclude leaving the area for some sun. At least it's been a mild winter for snow so far and days are getting longer.

POLAR opposite for me.

My body despises the heat and humidity of southern summers. Can't do anything outside without burning sweat in my eyes and skeeters and yellow flies eating me alive!
