Good posts and info....to me there is no reason why shooters/hunters should not be able to have the option to use a suppressor....are we not concerned about human health? Maybe when RFK jr. gets confirmed we can push for a federal law making suppressors legal in all 50 states. not so sure HE'D be the right guy for that push...

im 15 but already have it cause I've never worn hearing protection it comes in and out don't continue to be stupid...wear the hearing protection. X2 it is nerve damage and will only get worse. Those claims are bogus as well. I have had his since first time in the service.

I've had it since my first year in the army, had a drill seargent pitch a grenade simulator that hit a pine branch and landed about 8 feet away from me while I was prone position . ai got 40 percent hearing loss also. Went to get hearing aides last spring and the doc told me go talk to the army. I got free hearing aids from them and now have free medical too. Hope you are getting your 10% disability for tinnitus. You earned it the hard way. I'm fighting the va for a higher rating for my extreme hearing loss. I too have the right to hearing aids and free hearing tests and such. Sarge I have hearing loss too, but I don't feel I got it while in the army like I know I did the tinnitus. But, hearing aids are poorly covered by Medicare. Found out I can get them through the VA, though.
It's been months since I bought the book, "How To Scam People On Line". It still hasn't arrived yet.

Wear the same ear muffs you would use while target shooting. I wear ear muffs when I'm cutting grass on my riding lawn mower or while I'm running a chain saw.
