LOL!!! How many tip getters actually claim their tips as income?? Really My guess very few. Being most people pay with a card, all those tips are claimed as income.

My brother owns a restaurant in Florida,His waiters make 90,000.00 a year in tips! Yes that's 90,000.00 a year!!!!!!!!!!. I been a mason my whole life and never,i mean never made 90,000.00 a year. If they don't have to pay taxes on their wages,we should not have to either. Absolutely correct.

LOL!!! How many tip getters actually claim their tips as income?? Really My guess very few. Only if you add the tip on a credit card or debit card. Those are taxed, cash is king and they usually don’t tax those. That is why the nail and hair salon my wife goes to doesn’t accept cards. They are cash only. So they can avoid paying taxes.

A flat % tax for everyone no more loops everyone owes x % on the money they make, no breaks for no one!!! I would rather it be a consumption tax. That way I could decide If I wanted to spend my money on something instead of them taking a cut off the top.

Everybody should have some skin in the game. The idea of 50% of the population voting for benefits without having to pay for them is ridiculous and breeds waste and fraud.

I doubt no taxes will never happen. But, I can see no taxes on SS which he spoke about.

I always tip in cash so they don't have to claim it. I have always done this. Same here.

Not claiming tips would illegal. I can't believe all you law abiding Americans do this? Really makes little sense to cut a tax many people cheat to avoid paying anyway. Only the waitresses win.
The problem with a tax that everybody pays the same amount, the people at the lower end may not even make enough money to pay their amount.
Almost everybody pay taxes, just not income taxes.

I've been hearing that for 4 years. Hope it goes through the way I have been hearing.
He's also mentioned property taxes and estate taxes going away. I've heard this for a while too. I hope it all goes through!
I pay taxes on my paycheck, the business pays tax on my paycheck, I go buy some materials to make a front porch on my house and the county tax assessors shows up and says I will have to pay property tax on it. Already paid tax on the materials - now I have to pay tax on it every year over, and over, and over till I die. What a racket!

I don't see the equality in every one paying the same amount income tax, if middle class makes 33k a year and the rich make 200k a year, just where is the equality if the 33k pay only 1200.00 and the 200k only pay 1200 , how is that worked out, if the higher value worker makes more how is this even, if the lower income have to pay what the higher would do if reversed ?
I'd rather see the step process for making more you pay more as it is now with a lot of the no tax paying schemes cut off !
I would also like to see the forever never ending property tax stopped after one buy's their home, and the property tax paid in the payment at time of saving worked out over the period of the loan. When your home is paid for your property tax is as well, unless you can pay that tax at time of signing the title to the property. If you are building on that property then you will be taxed once for the value of the house when finished and it's added into the payment of the total purchase.
The value of the home and property still advance no wishes that to stop, so whom ever buys it when it's up for sale will still pay the new value but the payment is still a onetime affair.
As it is now that property is charged into perpetuity to the family passing it down, or another buying it, it never stops and the only one reaping that benefit is the government, this was a sure minded thing when it passed into law, due to people not standing up against it, and lots of laws are the same way as now people are not even represented properly when our congress or state congress's meet to amend or add any laws !
No one ever sees anything else they own continue a property tax on ownership like a home does, this is out right stealing value from the owner !

Land is taxed here the same way. Ag land tax is increased 10% per year here - not matter how you use it. The tax is based on what type of soil you have and what the state of Illinois says you can grow on it and how much they say you ''can'' make off it. 10% more per year. Every year.
My house tax went up 26% last year.
Our Governor pulled all the toilets out of his house he left vacant so he could get around some rules and make it so he doesn't have to pay taxes on his property. The rules are for the - not me.
I like the plan. We need to stick to the plan. Let's see where this goes. Remember- they work for us!

And, I'll buy a MAGA hat if he eliminates all welfare (including all disability welfare). He'd lose a big chunk of his base though....
Just like you'll applaud Elon if he states he's in favor of eliminating EV tax cuts and subsidies? Oh, wait....
