Driving like Miss Daisy kept that old truck looking good, wish i was as cautious a driver as you are, lol. Hahaha, not if you ask Rhonda. She's always getting on me about my driving. I reckon it's something in my DNA. I tell her that someone who has been inclined toward risky behavior all his life isn't going to be driving like an old lady.

That truck looks like it’s still in great shape! Do vehicles rust down there at all? Not much if at all. Road salt up here eats them up quick no matter how many times you wash them.

Sometimes seeing a good ol truck going to a new home is like saying goodbye to a good friend,,, it’s crazy how we can get attached to things like that.

Done got it. The 2010 white Tundra, which was my convention/road truck, on the right is now my trapping truck replacing the Tacoma. The 2016 Silver Tundra on the left is now my convention/road truck replacing the white Tundra.

Wow, that’s a lot of miles! The most I ever got out of a Tacoma was 276000 miles on my 2004 but the frame rusted through. I’m in Pa so we get lots of salt on the roads in the winter. We don’t get salt anymore it’s some kind of liquid stuff that eats everything up in the undercarriage. My mechanic told me it looks like a pit factory under there now!And that’s on my 2011 Tacoma I have now

They had a 15 year warranty on the frame, and when they discovered my frame was rusted bad, it was 4 months after the warranty ran out. I had the frame sandblasted, reinforced plates welded on and painted. It's been good ever since. The guy only charged $300 to do it.
