Nice catches, question: Do you set your fisher traps using only 1 spring?

No, tried to remove them from trap and one spring was froze into critter.

Sometimes you get lucky and don't have to switch out the trap, like the one on the right.

I wasn't sure on that one, which is strange. There were wolf tracks up to it, but also a bit of blood on the trap.

It was suspended in air. So ya, not actually sure

Ya, they are what I chase pretty much all winter. No real giants yet, but a bunch 34-37" so far.


A bit of drag screaming out of them, but I amnwaiting for that 40" plus where it feels like you set the hook into a soggy log lol

I just love summertime jigging for lakers, they are a blast. We might not catch as many as the trollers but we have 10 times the fight. Lakers here form the finger lakes are good eating, not great like your crappies and perch but good. Nice post, keep them coming we are jealous......jk
