This muskrat blanket was made by Rebecca Darling of Darling Leather and Fur (I’m actually the person that hired her to make it). Yes, it was an expensive and time consuming project making it very rewarding in the end. I’ve had her make several beaver blankets, hats, mitts, beaver tail wallets, bobcat foot and tail key chains, and bobcat hat, mitts and scarf. Her work is impeccable and of extreme high quality - legendary would probably be a better description.

Absolutely amazing that’s the way a blanket supposed to look. Wow.!

Gorgeous. You could sleep with the window wide open in winter.

Back in the early 2000’s while trapping mink for MSU, one young Tech commented he’d like to have a rat comforter made. From all the extra rats I was catching in my mink BE’s I decided to give him enough to make his comforter which turned out to be 90 after we matched bellies & backs He had FOXX make it for him and I tell you something, that video shows a beautiful blanket but to see it on a bed and run your hand over it is something else! Also, our rats are darker backs than those rats in the video or at least that’s the shade we picked out to send. He told me what it cost him but I don’t remember exactly except it was a heck of a lot of $$$!
